Perspectives of radial drilling technology for oilfields in Perm region

This article focuses on experience and development of radial drilling technology in a world practice. Main advantages of radial drilling are shown in comparison with standard methods. The paper summarizes recommended criteria for selection of candidate wells. In conclusion authors show main trends in further development of radial drilling in Perm oilfields and ways to improve the technology.
