Assessment of line of corrosion processes development in existing wells by geophysical methods

Geophysical methods, included in the system for the study of the technical condition of the flow string of wells, does not allow to assess of the line of corrosion processes development, that is necessary for the design of measures for strings protection from the corrosion. The method of research of line of corrosion development is prepared. The results of its testing in wells of Surgutneftegas OJSC fields are given. The results of several stages of the conducted research allowed to adjust the method, to understand the causes of corrosion processes appearance and to reveal the most corrosion dangerous intervals in wells of various purposes.
