This paper presents basic solutions for energy saving in reservoir pressure maintenance systems. Capability of reducing energy costs associated with water injection has been demonstrated. This paper reports the results of managed operation of positive-displacement pumps (PDP) from various manufacturers. Possibility of PDP application in reservoir pressure maintenance systems has been confirmed.
