Optimizing production wells’ performance during steam gravity recovery of extra-viscous oil on the Ashalchinskoye field

The article reveals the pattern of extra-viscous oil production on the Ashalchinskoye field by steam gravity recovery method. Effects of specific temperature and pressure conditions on the performance of pumping equipment during extra-viscous oil production are considered. Solutions to decreasing downtime steam losses and extending pumps’ run time are suggested.
