On the temperature regime and the thermal shock phenomenon in an electric centrifugal pump

An attempt to assess the pump temperature depending on operation technological parameters by mathematical methods is made. A formula for determining the temperature of an electric centrifugal pump at variable speed of submersible motor is suggested. It is noted that calculations, based on this formula, require experimental confirmation, however, allow to determine the mechanism of pump heating while pumping gassy mixtures.
