Using the method of paleotectonic reconstructions for oil deposits exploration in Upper Jurassic sediments of Ety-Purovskoye field

Paleotectonic reconstruction technique for prediction of oil accumulation areas in the Upper Jurassic strata at the Ety-Purovskoye field is considered. As a result of the executed research hydrocarbon traps are selected. Reliability of the methodology of perspective objects selection is confirmed by the data of exploration and appraisal drilling, industrial oil inflows were received from the Yu1  layer at the sites, proposed to prospecting.
