The computerized selection of the oil gathering lines optimum diameter

The algorithms of pipeline diameter selection for the oil gathering network were formulated, making possible the capital expenditures reduction from maintaining an optimum flow regime. A multiphase flow was simulated using the Beggs and Brill correlation. The proposed technique was tested on several surface facilities models of the Rosneft hydrocarbon fields.
