Reducing the risk of rod breakage with improved methods of qualitative and quantitative assessment of the remaining life

To evaluate operating efficiency of pump systems, oil production engineers should know causes and effects of changes in pump rod performance. This paper presents a scientific validation of data set required to forecast the remaining life of production equipment and reduce the risk of rod breakage.
