Tatneft’s heavy oil project launched in 2006, is underway. Development of heavy oil reserves is one of the strategic directions of the Company. New heavy oil accumulations will soon be brought into development. Research projects based on the hands-on experience of the Ashalchinskoye heavy oil field development are in progress.
