Characteristics of Tatneft prospects and prospective resources

The paper considers features and characteristics of Tatneft prospects and their prospective resources. Categorization of prospects and plays in terms of area extent and vertical closure has been made. Basic sources of incremental resources have been determined: investigations of plays and territories where seismic survey has never been carried out as well as study of poor-quality reservoirs. Cost efficiency analysis of prospecting and development has been performed.
