Analysis and assessment of the degree of failures occurring risk at holing

A statistical analysis of crashworthness at holing and risk estimation on this basis are carried out. Five classes of failure
danger degree is established. An overall index of the failure effect is proposed. The dependence of the frequency of
failures on this index is received. It is shown, that with increase in overall index of the failure effect failure frequency decreases,
following the hyperbolic law. A measure of risk is proposed.

Influence of oil saturation distribution along the horizontal section of the injection well on production performance in thermal stimulation projects

STARS reservoir simulator has been used to evaluate injection of heat transfer agent into formations characterized by non-uniform water saturation along horizontal wellbore. The simulation has shown that injection of heat transfer agent into formations with higher water saturation results in more rapid heat front propagation. This leads to increased reduction
of oil viscosity and, consequently, higher production rates at the earlier stage of field development.

Issues of bitumen recovery by Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage in reservoirs with high solution gas-oil ratio

Paper considers an issue of gas-blanket development at the edge of the steam chamber in SAGD recovery of bitumen. It was shown that evolved methane gas has a detrimental effect on heat transfer from water steam to bitumen, hence it reduces thermal sweep and recovery performance. Co-injection of hydrocarbon solvents and steam can improve
recovery process efficiency in cases of bitumen with high solution gas-oil ratio.

Analysis of experimental simulation of the well sucker rod pump

The results of experimental simulation of the well sucker rod pump with a specially designed stand are analyzed. It is shown, that the delivery rate with the gas concentration increase at the pump intake decreases nonlinearly. It is established, that with the rod travel velocity increase the coefficient of bucket rods elastic extensions decreases. High reliability of evaluation of the actual well production, the capability of the pump fault diagnosis with a high degree of accuracy are shown experimentally. The dynamometer card form change depending on the gas content in the pump intake is revealed.
