In technology of pipeline transport there are operations of consecutive transport of two diverse streams of gases and liquids. One of the problems is undesirable mixture of streams on border of their contact. The purpose of the given work was development of the forecast of a zone of mixture of transported streams. For the description of longitudinal mixture of streams are used one-parametrical diffusions and cascade models of structure of streams. Complexity of calculation consists in necessity of the account of the real processes occurring at connection of one stream to another. The method of calculation of a zone of mutual mixture of streams and an interval of time during which this zone passes the set section of a pipe is developed. It is shown, that the account of real conditions of the starting period during transport of two consecutive streams leads to substantial growth of a zone of their mutual mixture. Results of work can be used at planning losses of a product, calculation of a time interval of passage of the polluted stream, and also at system engineering automatic control by transport of streams.
