Analysis and optimization of waterflooding performance in carbonate reservoirs of the Republic of Tatarstan

Dependencies of oil recovery factor on well spacing density have been obtained for the Bashkirian, Tournaisian and Vereiskian reservoirs of the Republic of Tatarstan. The paper considers various options for vertical, horizontal and multilateral well placement in a dual-permeability reservoir and the method of Tournaisian reservoir development in the Bavlinskoye field using multilateral horizontal well.
