The team of authors of the magazine is mostly heads of departments of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, oil and gas companies, engineers and scientists from almost all oil regions of Russia and neighboring countries.

Scientific and technical articles planned for publication in “Oil industry” magazine undergo through a procedure of strict reviewing and approving by the editorial board. After receiving a positive review from the board, materials are placed in the "portfolio", awaiting publication. The procedure of reviewing-approving covers a period of 1 to 3 months, further on the material is published in turn, the order of which depends on the actuality of the article.

Scientific and technical materials which received a positive review from the editorial board, are published free of charge. Articles which are planned for publication urgently are published at a cost of 10500 rubles + 18% VAT per page.
