On the method of the estimation of polymer solution concentration and the fringe volume enough for the successful realization of polymer flooding

The experimental and theoretical studies on the mechanism of polymer flooding enhanced oil recovery are carried out. New ideas about the mechanism of the effect of polymer additives to the water, injected into the reservoir for keeping of pressure, on the reduction of residual oil saturation, are formulated. An algorithm for evaluative calculations carrying out for setting the necessary parameters of the polymer (biopolymer) flooding process is presented.
